Ministry leaders are notorious for not taking the time to invest in their own emotional, physical, spiritual, and relational health. It's often the hardest thing to do to slow down and take care of one's self. But, it may be the most important aspect of their work - if they're to remain in ministry for the long haul.
Jesus made a strong case for taking time to rest, get alone with the Father, and to spend time in prayer. Yet, why is it so difficult for us to follow his lead?
